HOBIE PROGRAMS
LNCS now has two Hobie 14s! For those of you who have been wanting to try something new, here is your chance. We will offer Intro to Hobie Sailing Classes for anyone, and Orientations and Skipper Checkouts for our Members. Hobie sailing is included with your membership once you are checked out. There will be a sign-up sheet to check out a Hobie as they are also used for classes.
Intro to Hobie Sailing Class - For Anyone
In this four-hour, hands-on class students learn the essential skills needed to confidently sail a Hobie 14 Turbo. The session begins with a short classroom-based introduction covering the fundamentals of sailing. Students then head out on the water for practical instruction. Members who demonstrate all required skills, become eligible for Hobie 14 boat access, allowing them to take the boat out independently.

Hobie Orientations - For Members Only
The Hobie Orientation is for Members who are confident sailing a multi-hulled boat but need an orientation to this particular sailboat. The orientation is not a class. All members wishing to use this boat must first pass a Skipper Checkout.
