Stand up paddle boarding is one of the fastest growing recreational activities offering the perfect blend of fitness and FUN! Paddle boarding can be a great workout or just a way to explore the lake. Either way you need to know the proper technique. Bring your friends and join us on the lake for a great time. All of our classes are coed and offered in a relaxed, no pressure environment. Be prepared to work hard. Amy Sullivan and Jen Newell are our talented instructors and will add modifications for anyone when needed.
We provide all necessary paddle board equipment, including life vest. You will need to bring:
- Completed Waiver
- Comfortable workout clothes that dry quickly (dress for the weather; synthetic instead of cotton)
- Water Bottle
- Sunscreen
- Hat / Sunglasses with a strap to secure hat/glasses
- Water Shoes; shoes that strap on your feet and can get wet; you can also go barefoot on the board but will need shoes to walk out to the dock
- Towel
- Change of clothes
Wear what is comfortable for your regular workout (cropped tights, shorts, etc.) taking the weather into consideration. Keep in mind you may get wet so wear something that dries quickly. Bring a change of clothes just in case. If you fall in, no big deal! You just get right back up on the board.
Classes canceled due to inclement weather will be rescheduled.
