The Chesapeake Bay has a rich maritime history, picture-postcard towns and endless coves, creeks and anchorages to explore. The first and last night will be spent aboard your boat at the charter dock with the remaining four nights spent at various stops around the bay. This charter is structured as a fun AND educational trip with meetings prior to charter and hands-on participation daily. Everyone will learn something and have a ball doing it.

A typical day begins with breakfast on board before leaving the dock. You will get plenty of sailing in during the day on the way to your next destination, having lunch on board along the way. Once you reach the final stop for the day, you will go ashore and explore a beautiful, coastal town. Dinners will be planned with the crew from all of the boats.

Lake Norman Community Sailing provides the captains. Each boat is responsible for their own provisions and divvying up the responsibilities on the boat.

The cost is to be determined but last year it was $1,500/person.
